My name is Sheila Reiner (formerly Wissel). I was born and raised in Mesa County.

I am a candidate to be your County Clerk and Recorder. I began work in the Elections Division nine years ago. I have been a part of over 25 seamless elections in Mesa County. I am proud to say that the will of the people in Mesa County has been accurately reflected in every single one of them. I have a close working relationship established with the Secretary of State's Office and County Clerks across the state.

During my years with the office I have learned a great deal about the other departments as well. I am not only well versed in Elections law but also familiar with Motor Vehicle, Recording and Clerk to the Board. I have been a member of budget review teams and have prepared the budgets for the four divisions.

A graduate of the Elections Center and Auburn University’s program for Election Officials, I am a Certified Elections Registration Administrator.  I am a Certified Colorado Elections Official and am a graduate of the Grand Valley Leadership Academy. I have served on the Orchard Mesa Little League’s Board and am a former member of the Board of Kids Voting Mesa County.
