Continuing to champion the effort against unnecessary and costly requirements will continue to be close to my heart. I have been a strong and steady voice for county elections offices. As your Clerk and Recorder, I will continue to work hard to make sure the Western slope continues to have a voice in all areas that the Clerk & Recorders Office handles.

Our Motor Vehicle Clerks are agents of the state in tax collection for vehicle registration. While the Clerk & Recorder does not control the software employed by the state, I will continue to find ways to help our staff to assist you in your motor vehicle transactions. I will also make myself available to be involved in any upgrades or conversions the state pursues to improve their system.

The Recording Division upgraded their system for recording documents.  The efficiencies realized by this system have been substantial.  This is another area of the Clerk & Recorder's Office that will continue great work.
